DACT can encrypt files in addition to compressing them.  In the spirit of DACT any one of multiple encryption algorithms may be used: subst, serpent, and psubst.  DACT does not encrypt the original file name when encrypting, but it can be disabled with the -O option.  The CRC for the original source is disabled when encryption to prevent a known plaintext attack.
